indiamarkets will host virtual trade fair in March
 

indiamarkets, a business-to-business e-commerce marketplace will host TradeZone, a virtual trade fair in India in March 2001. The month-long only-on-the-net exhibition will serve as a platform for buyers and sellers in different business categories to interact, with potential partners, an official release said.

“The policy of indiamarkets has been to mass e-enable the business community in India. The virtual trade fair will further leverage the power of the net and enable suppliers to transact with e-vendors from across the globe. This is the first marketing initiative to tap the huge international buyer base. Currently, we are in the process of liasoning with other international buying houses that will allow buyers from overseas to transact with domestic suppliers at TradeZone," Nayanthara Kamath, vice president-operations,indiamarkets said.
