indiamarkets.com plans industrial cafes
The business-to-business(B2B) website - indiamarkets.com is planning to set up 'industrial cafes' to provide
customer support and e-commerce training to Small and Medium Enterprises
(SMEs).
About 70 industrial locations across the country have been identified to conduct training sessions for the members
of the Indian Institute of Material Management (IIMM). Addressing a press
conference where IIMM announced its partnership with indiamarkets.com to
set up a supply chain and logistics exhibition - Scale 2000, Mr. Bagri,
Chairman, Scale 2000 said the intention was to enable SMEs to get a stronger
foothold in the B2B segment of e-commerce. Scheduled to be held in
May for the first time in the city, Scale 2000 will be a comprehensive
business fair featuring a three-day international exhibition and a two
day technical conference on "Supply chain and logistics solutions for business
optimisation."
Mr G D Bagri, Chairman, Scale 2000(IIMM), said SMEs have to gear up in every way possible to survive. "Large
organisations are increasingly using their supply chain management for
dominance and by working together with indiamarkets.com we can add value
and offer Net-specific training to SMEs.
